Neubie Therapy in Nottingham: Specialist Neuromuscular Rehabilitation
NeuroMotion at We Fix Feet, Beeston. For people whose recovery has stalled, and for anyone who wants to move with more strength and confidence.
60-minute assessment · No obligation to start a programme
When recovery slows, it may be time for a different approach.
If your recovery from a stroke, a neurological condition, an injury or an operation has slowed down or stopped, it doesn't always mean you've reached your limit. Sometimes it means the approach you've had so far has done what it can, and something different is worth trying.
NeuroMotion brings together the Neubie® neuromuscular device, our Boost microgravity treadmill, blood flow restriction training, Class IV K-Laser and one-to-one strength work, all in one clinic in Beeston.
Every programme starts with a proper assessment and a straight answer about whether we think we can help.
What is Neubie?
Neubie (Neuro-Bio-Electric Stimulator) is a neuromuscular stimulation device that uses a direct-current signal. It helps us find muscles that aren't switching on properly and then train them while you move.
Traditional electrical stimulation usually has you lying still while a machine works the muscle. With Neubie, you're doing the work. You walk, stand, squat or reach while the device prompts the muscles involved.
The aim is to help your nervous system and muscles work together better during the movements you need in everyday life.
Most people describe the feeling as a buzzing or tingling. We start gently and adjust to what's comfortable for you.
You take an active part in your rehabilitation.
Treatment focuses on movement and activities that matter to you, rather than the device alone.
What we recommend depends on your assessment, goals and individual needs.

Neubie is one part of what we do. What makes NeuroMotion different is that everything you might need is under one roof, and the same team plans how it fits together.
Finding and training muscles that aren't activating well, during movement.
Practising walking or running with some of your body weight taken off, so you can move further and more safely.
Building strength with lighter weights, which suits people who can't yet lift heavy.
Used alongside rehab to help manage pain and discomfort.
Turning gains in the clinic into strength you keep.
Who NeuroMotion helps
We work with five broad groups of people.
People living with a neurological condition
Including stroke, Parkinson's, MS, FND, MND, foot drop and peripheral neuropathy. Read more about the neurological conditions we work with.
People whose rehabilitation has stalled
After a stroke or brain injury, often after NHS therapy has finished.
People recovering from injury or surgery
Such as knee or hip replacement, ACL reconstruction, shoulder surgery or a recurring sports injury.
People living with long-term pain
Who feel they've tried everything and want an approach focused on movement.
Active adults focused on strength and balance
Who want to stay strong and steady as they get older, with a personal plan rather than a group class.
We work alongside your GP, consultant, specialist nurse or NHS team, never instead of them.
How it works
A clear process, starting with an honest assessment and goals that matter to you.
Book an assessment
Book a Comprehensive Movement Assessment (60 minutes). We talk through your history and what you want to get back to, then test how you move and map how your muscles respond with Neubie.
Get a straight answer
We explain what we found and whether we think a programme is worth doing. If we don't think we can help, we'll tell you, and point you to someone who can.
Follow a structured programme
If it's right for you, we recommend our 6-session programme, with goals agreed at the start.
Measure progress
We repeat your baseline tests at the end so you can see what has changed, rather than taking our word for it.
Keep it going
You leave with a home plan to help you hold on to what you've built.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to some common questions about NeuroMotion.
Does Neubie hurt?
Most people feel a buzzing or tingling that feels unusual at first. We start low and adjust as we go. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book directly. If your GP or consultant would like to refer you, they can. We're happy to write to them with your permission.
Is Neubie safe for everyone?
Not for everyone. We check your medical history before your first appointment. Neubie isn't suitable if you have a cardiac pacemaker or if you're pregnant. We'll go through this with you.
Will it work for me?
We can't tell you that until we've assessed you, and anyone who promises results before meeting you should make you cautious. What we can promise is an honest assessment, a clear plan if we think one is worth doing, and measured progress.
Is it covered by health insurance?
Some private medical insurers may cover part of the cost. Check with your insurer before booking. We can give you a receipt with treatment details.
How is this different from NHS physiotherapy?
It's designed to work alongside NHS care, not replace it. The main differences are longer one-to-one sessions, access to technology such as Neubie and the Boost treadmill, and no waiting list.
